At approximately 11:45 this morning, I received a telephone call from Lucy M, a new customer with Pompeii’s Plumbing.

She called to express her gratitude for the wonderful work that Bruce performed at her home this morning. She also wanted to let you know that his manners were absolutely impeccable.

She has advised that she will be a customer of Pompeii’s Plumbing forever, and is going to refer us from this day forward.

She is most grateful for the professionalism in your employees, as well as the work done, and wished that I put this in writing for you.

Ron was out to my house today doing a service call with the package that we signed up for and it is probably the 3rd or 4th time he has been out. His service and complete demeanor towards his job is excellent and I greatly appreciate how he conducts himself at my home. I am in sales myself and I truly appreciate the honesty he and Pompeii have shown when giving estimates and making recommendations on equipment I might or might not need. For someone who knows nothing about plumbing it would be very easy to tell me I need his and that and then charge me for it accordingly but that is not how Ron and Pompeii team have operated at my house. Again thanks for the excellent service and my hats off to Ron and the job he does: you have a loyal customer here.

In the many years I have owned a home, I have needed the services of a plumber more than I care to remember. However, I don't think I have ever called the same plumber or plumbing company more than once. That is, until now. I called Pompeii's last week for the second time because I was so pleased the first time I dealt with your company last year.

There are two main reasons why I was so pleased. The first was the plumber who came out both times. He was excellent, knowledgeable, thorough, and nice. He explains everything he's doing and does it well.

The second reason was the way I was treated on the phone. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, caring, and efficient. They were equally good representatives of the company. Thank you for your customer-oriented service.

When we had an incident with our basement ejection pump in January and a friend recommended Pompeii's to take a look at the pump. The technician that came out to our house was excellent. He took the time to explain why our current pump wasn't working properly and explained why we needed a better quality system for our needs.

Just a note to thank you for your excellent service call today. I have never experienced such a professional call. I also appreciated the phone call I received from you office about your imminent arrival.
It began outside when you identified yourself – name, company & purpose of the call. Your company provides a quality, identified vehicle, which I always look for. When I lived overseas, I was taught personal security procedures and you certainly passed. Next you had shoe covers, which I use in my own Real Estate business. I appreciate not having to wash the floor as I do after other service calls, and visits including my family!
You took the time to confer with me prior to your work to discuss my questions and concerns. You also responded to my brain picking, which I engage in from time to time to learn from a knowledgeable professional. It helps my business where I deal with many home repair and service issues.
You did a thorough check and cleaning of my furnace and applied a service sticker, which is valuable to a homeowner when there is a home warranty issue or when it's time to sell. Buyers do look for these stickers.
After the tune up, you explained everything with facts and figures and answered concerns about my filter, which you noted on my receipt for future reference. And I can easily read your printing! Thank you, also, for going back downstairs to adjust my venting after I mentioned that some rooms were colder than others. You probably had another call to do, but you didn't rush me and took the time to see that all of my concerns were dealt with. You also gave me a pen which I will use at my Open Housed to promote your business. I will also feel very comfortable referring Pompeii's to my clients, friends and family.
You r excellent, proactive call ensures that I will have this tune-up done by Pompeii's every year and any other service work as well. It is well worth the money.
You are a true Professional – your company is lucky to have you. Those of you who meet the public are the face of Pompeii's. They should know you represent them at the highest level.

I am writing to you today to compliment your company and employees on outstanding service you, and they, provided to my wife and I.
Recently we had some flooding in our basement as a result of our storm sewer collapsing. Good old 40-year-old pipes with lots of trees. We had a number of your employees over to the house at various times to fix the sump pump, snake our storm sewer, and then replace most of the storm sewer. My wife and I were extremely impressed with every individual who worked on our property. They were all extremely courteous and professional and explained in detail the work they were doing. From our first dealing with your company (last fall for furnace service) to this most recent work, we have had a very positive experience and felt you needed to know about it.
Thank you for your hard work and great company! I will be sure to use you in the future and speak highly of you to others.

This is a letter of appreciation for the kindness and expediency you showed my family. M daughter, Katie, had her gas utility turned off on 1/6. The utilities were being transferred to another family member who has purchased the home. When the gas company came out 1/7 to turn the gas back on, a major gas leak was discovered and they refused to turn the gas on until a plumber was able to find and fix the leak. Keep in mind that the temperatures are very cold, my daughter has 2 small children and pets, and the gas was off from Noon 1/6.
By 9:00 a.m. on 1/7, the house temperature was below 50 degrees. I work at ******, and Dr. N overheard my conversation with a very hysterical Katie. He broke into the conversation to recommend Pompeii's, stating that not only was he always pleased with their work, but his own personal experience with Pompeii's was exceptional. I called immediately and was told the Ron would go to Katie's home right away.
In this day and age, there are very few businesses that still have the personal, caring touch. Obviously this is one of Pompeii's strong points.
You have no idea how deeply I appreciate your promptness and kindness in this situation. You just earned yourselves even more positive word-of-mouth advertising than you already had! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the work that was done by your company in the replacement of our old furnace. Your workmen were very polite to me and my family. They were very considerate of us and our home throughout the entire process. We are very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship which is evident in the replacement of the ductwork and the creation of the fittings for the new furnace.

This note is to let you know how much I appreciate your employee, Dan. I have had a continuous water problem in my basement for the last 4-5 years. I have had the head of the cities maintenance dept, building inspector and other basement 'experts' out here. Dan came up with a simple, inexpensive solution that seems to have fixed the problem and saved me a large basement project. So far with the rains we've had my basement floor is dry.
I have already recommended your company and one person has used your services. Another neighbor took your name and number for a possible sump backup.

I want to express my satisfaction with one of Pompeii's plumbers who came to my aid last Friday after my sump pump failed during the heavy rains that we were having. Luckily they had previously installed a backup water driven sump pump so flooding wasn't a problem, but it sure was nice to have such a quick response to my service call. I just want to thank Rob for his courteous and professional service as he did a great job on the install.
